Mariana Vodanovic Undurraga

Mariana is a Chilean visual artist and painter, based in North Wales.  

Holds a BA in Visual Arts from The University of Chile and a Master's Degree in Fine Art from the Slade School of Fine Art (UCL).  

She has worked for Chile's Ministry of Culture and Heritage, led community-based art projects, has taught at Chilean Universities, and received a number of awards for her work, including Armando Mellado Campi Award in 2008 from Chilean National Art Prize 30º version and honourable mention in 2009 and 2013 (31º and 35º version).

Regarding her artistic practice, she has a passionate interest in exploring the creative process, specifically focussing on the therapeutic value of artistic creation.
